Emperor's New Clothes

This year for my independent studies class I'm working on kid's book illustration. I picked the emperor's new clothes to illustrate, so you'll probably see a lot of pictures for that popping up in my gallery over the next semester . This picture is the first of them--it's supposed to introduce the little emperor guy.

Edit: Never mind about the book . I've decided a better way to build my portfolio would be to do a bunch of pictures from different well known stories. So . . . yeah. this picture is kind of a dead end, but I'm still happy with it
